Ep. 8 - Kitchen Witchery Fall Edition (Potion Power!)

It's another season, so we thought we'd tackle another aspect of Kitchen Witchery! Moonkittee and Damona discuss "What is a Potion?", tackle the infamous PSL, discuss ways to potion up your life, and share favorite recipes (both alcoholic and non) for this glorious season!

Moonkittee's Meow at the Moon Hot Apple Cider
2 c. Apple Cider (fresher the better!)
1 oz. Dark Rum
1 oz. Light Rum
1/2 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Butterscotch Schnaps or 2 tbsp Caramel Syrup
Apple Slice 
Cinnamon Stick or 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Simmer the Apple Cider and Cinnamon stick together on the stove (alternatively if you want less cinnamon flavor add it later). Once hot add the alcohols and schnaps/syrup. Simmer for 2 minutes to combine flavors, pour into a mug and stir with the cinnamon stick.

Pomegranate Spritzer
1/2 c. Pomegranate Juice
1/4 c. Orange Juice
2-3 tsp Simple Syrup (to taste)
12 oz. Sparkling Water

Pour Pomegranate Juice and OJ into a glass (over ice). Add Sparkling water and simple syrup to taste.
